Ethics approved, posters printed, and we are ready to start running our workshops!
We are now busily recruiting students in the hope we can start running some sessions this week and next week
Project meeting today to plan our recruitment strategy for students to come to the workshop, and also confirm the dates we’ll be running the sessions.
Just awaiting feedback from the ethics committee and then we’re ready to go!
We received the good news last week that our proposal for the HEA Annual Conference was successful, so we’ll be presenting a workshop about this project in July.
We are also going to submit to present at the University of Northampton ILT Conference in May, and the SRHE conference in December.
Having a productive project meeting today to finalise research materials so we can submit for ethical approval. Once we get the go ahead, we can start running the workshops! #exciting
We have now created a NILE organisation called ‘ABL workshop’ where the materials for the workshop will be stored. Students who register to attend the workshop will be given access to the NILE site.
The site contains a range of example ABL activities that will be used during the workshop 1) to enable students to see different ways of ‘blending’ online and face to face elements, and 2 ) for them to evaluate the structure and content of learning activities designed to be conducted online.
